Product Overview
The Schneider Electric LRD14C
is a three-pole thermal overload relay
from the TeSys Deca / TeSys LRD
range, designed for overload protection
in industrial electric motor control systems.
It features a 7–10A adjustable
thermal protection range, allowing
the protection setting to be selected
according to the motor rated current
and applicable protection requirements.
The LRD14C is specified with a
Class 10A thermal overload
tripping characteristic in
accordance with IEC 60947-4-1.
The relay provides manufacturer-specified
phase-failure sensitivity
for motor protection applications.
Schneider Electric identifies the LRD14C
for use with selected
LC1D09–LC1D38 contactors,
subject to correct motor starter selection.
It supports direct installation beneath
a compatible contactor or alternative
plate and DIN-rail mounting using
the specified accessories.
The relay provides thermal overload
protection and must be used with
suitable coordinated short-circuit
protection equipment.
