Product Overview
The Schneider Electric BMXDDI3202K is a
Modicon X80 32-channel discrete input module designed for
approved Modicon M340 and M580 X80 rack configurations. It provides
32 positive-logic (sink) 24 V DC input channels for
collecting signals from compatible switches and DC proximity sensors.
A single 40-pin connector serves the input channels.
Each input has a nominal current of 2.5 mA at 24 V DC,
and the typical response time is 4 ms.
The input logic electronics use power from the 3.3 V rack bus,
while the field sensors require a suitable external sensor supply.
Schneider specifies 0.5 A fast-blow external fuse protection for
each 16-channel group. This is an input-only
module and has no relay or transistor outputs. Check the exact module
reference, 40-pin cordset, rack configuration, sensor power and
protection wiring before ordering.
