The Fluke 771 is a professional Milliamp Process Clamp Meter designed for industrial process-control signal measurement and troubleshooting. It allows technicians to measure 4–20 mA DC current loops without disconnecting wires or interrupting the operating circuit, making it useful for maintenance of PLC analog I/O circuits, industrial transmitters and process instrumentation. The instrument supports a lower measurement range up to 20.99 mA with 0.01 mA resolution and a higher range extending to 99.9 mA. The dual backlit display provides both measured current and percentage-of-span information for 4–20 mA signals.
