Product Overview
The Delta AS-F485 is an RS-485 serial communication function card designed for compatible Delta AS Series programmable logic controllers, including documented AS300 PLC applications. It provides one additional RS-485 serial communication channel capable of operating in master or slave mode. The card supports compatible Modbus RTU and Modbus ASCII serial communications and can be configured through Delta ISPSoft / HWCONFIG. The RS-485 interface uses D+, D- and SG signals for integration with applicable serial industrial devices. In supported installations, the card can also be used with the AS00SCM-A communication module operating in COM mode. The AS-F485 is a PLC communication function card, not a standalone RS-232-to-RS-485 converter. Verify the exact host model, card position, wiring and communication settings before installation.
